Rocksteady Spring Concert

All of our Rocksteady bands performed at the parent concert on Mon 23 March, proudly showcasing their musical development on their instruments under the guidance of their band leader, Adrian.

Here is what he had to say about his time at WPS:

“We’ve had another really positive term at Willingham since Christmas that has seen some big improvements in our students, both with their skills and seeing their confidence grow alongside their band mates in a fun and safe space.

We have also seen another amazing school funded band absolutely ace ‘We Will Rock You’ by getting a massive applause from our incredible concert audience, who really could see the opportunity this provides to children who might otherwise not have access to instruments or struggle in other areas of school.

Next term, we will be pushing on with increasing the skills further with a brand new set of songs to wow the crowds at our end of term concerts. These are always so well attended and become such a celebration of all the hard work the students put in, starting from the very first week after the holidays. We all can’t wait to get going again.”
