Adapted Kurling Competition vs Cottenham

Willingham triumph in our first ever Adapted Kurling Competition

Willingham Primary School travelled to Cottenham to take part in the first ever 'Cottenham vs Willingham Adapted Kurling Competition'!

Adapted Kurling is one of the fastest growing sports in the UK and specifically designed to be all inclusive. It is also fantastically fun with staff members queueing uo to have a go (including Mr Morel and Mrs Latham)!

We took 6 children to play ‘double’ matches against 6 Cottenham children. Teams were awarded points if their stone(s) was closest to the target.

After lots of ‘mini doubles matches’ the scores were all added together and it was revealed that the final score was Cottenham 6-12 Willingham! The children were delighted that they won their first ever Kurling Competition and they now look forward to the ‘rematch’!!

We are very grateful to Cottenham for hosting the event and making our children feel so welcome. There is a link below to see more photos from the competition on Cottenham Primary School’s website.
