Year 5 have recently been delving into the fantastical world of Middle Earth for their study of The Hobbit by JRR Tolkien. As well as diving into the wealth of language within the book, the pupils have been inspired to create their own fantasy settings, characters and narrative. We have been be impressed with their depth of imagination and also how well they have grasped literary techniques to bring their fledgling worlds to life.
