During the Honeypot day, we offer a wide variety of free flow play with both child and adult led activities; which will support your child in their learning and build on their abilities, following the Early Years Foundation Stage Guidance. They will have the opportunity to access both rooms where they will find a wide range of resources and activities to access independently or with support.  

We offer our children a morning snack and drink and we ask parents to make a donation of snack, something healthy.  

The snack box is located next to the signing in boards, please make a member of staff aware of any dietary requirements or allergies and include on your registration form too.  

Honeypot children are lucky to have a beautiful outside area, which we utilise all year round and in all weathers. Please make sure your child wears appropriate clothing to be able to enjoy their day to the full potential. In winter, we have a box for hats and gloves and in the summer, we have a box for our summer hats and sun cream. Please clearly name all your child’s belongings. 

We also have a morning and afternoon group time, this is where we come together as a group and read a story, sing and dance and do other focussed listening activities. 

At lunchtime your child will find their lunchbox on the trolley and then take a seat at the table. We are offering a hot school meal option, which comes at a charge - menus and payment can be found on pupil asset.
